Just a waiting game now...

My friend and her programmer have begun work on the game and it is just a matter of time before you can do this...

  • Adopt a pet from anyone of the Mystic Moon Series books, including Drafoxes, Binks, Quatras and Eps!
  • Create your pet by choosing eye color and fur color, then buy some clothes to dress him or her up!
  • Play games and earn tokens as you explore Quatrana, Drafoxinia, and Eplictia!
  • Meet other characters from the book and play with friends online!
  • Feed and bathe your pet and keep him or her happy!
  • Grow your pet from a baby to adult and breed it with your friend's pets!

So, doesn't it sound exciting? You can talk about it in the general discussion under Forums!

BTW, my friend has made me a special Quatra, you can find her when you go to the waterfall clearing in Quatrana.

Yippee!

Things should be done... soon!!!

Well, my friend has found a programmer (someone to program her game)  and my fourth book is almost finished, and here is a sneak peak!

Amy continued walking along, when she met up to some Zylan guards.

“STOP!!! Where are you from and why are you going?” one of them asked.

“Oh great, another riddle. Listen, I’m from Sunnyville, though it hasn’t been sunny lately, and I am here to rescue my parents.” Amy said. The guards where surprised that she spoke with little fear in her voice, they let her pass.

“That was easy.” Amy said to herself walking in. The place was filled with monstrous creatures walking about. Most of them where happy that she brought a Drafox pup in, its illegal to harm anyone or anything that is holding a Drafox pup.

Soon, Amy saw the new Queen’s chair. It was purple, and she had purple grapes by it. Bats on the top of it. But where was the queen Abby?

“Okay, this is ridiculous!” Amy said looking around.

“Not as you would think, dear.” An eerie voice boomed from the back of the castle. Suddenly, a completely black Drafox entered the room. You could see her skull bone from the left side of her face, almost as if she was injured recently.

“State your business.” She said jumping into her chair.

“I am here to take my parents and family back.”Amy answered.

“Your parents? Oh yes, you are Shade, yes?”Abby asked with a grin.

“Yes, mam’.” Amy answered.

“Oh, well. You will have to find them my dear, you see, I have no cages to keep fellow humans anymore. Instead I transform them into animals and spread them out all over the place. Your father is a deer, and currently, he has his antlers stuck in a tree yet again. Your mother is a fellow Bink, and she is wandering about for food. Your sister and brother,Yasmin and Cameron are chasing each other around a park area as foals, and your brother just grabbed some hot dogs from a family picnic as a dog.” Abby said as she showed pictures of her family in the act.

“What about my husband, is he okay?” Amy asked.

“I haven’t been able to track him since he fell out of a tree.” Abby said with a slow grin appearing on her face.

“What was he?” Amy asked.

“He was a blue bird. You see, I made your family into the animals they correspond to. Your father, the fearless protector, a deer. Your mother, a meek humble Bink. Your brother and sister, playful foals. Your big brother, a hungry dog. And your husband, the small yet powerful bird.” Abby explained.

“So, how do I transform them back?” Amy asked.

“I will send my servant with you. She has a special charm that has the power to make your family humans again.” Abby said as a young woman came out from a room.

“Mom!” Amy said, she recognized her face immediately.

“That’s my daughter!” she said running over to her.

“And who is this?” she asked.

“This is Skimper.” Amy said holding him out.

“I’m not talking about the Drafox, Amy.” Lucy said putting her hand on Amy’s stomach.

“Nothing, I, its probably just… What are you talking about?” Amy asked pushing her hand away.

“I know very well about you and Jason. And that is your private life, so I’m staying out of it.” Lucy said crossing her arms.

“Lucy, you shall guide this girl to find her parents.” Abby said.

“Very well, come, lets go.” Lucy said as she lead the way. It would be a long unforgettable journey, but at least Amy would find her family.

No More Tv, guys.

Sorry about that, but I recently found out that it is ILLEGAL to support a video station for children to upload videos of themselves. No matter how strict I keep it, I cannot have any of my members uploading pictures, videos or avatars of themselves or others. So, I am going to have some new rules.

You cannot upload any pictures with even a friends face in front of the camera or even half unseen.

You cannot upload an Avatar of yourself or a friend.

And one more thing, before a new member is accepted, I will have a complete search done on them, and for almost an ENTIRE week, I will have routine checks on the new member. Only members I trust completely will be allowed to do anything. Also, any member who has not been a member for over three weeks will only be a LIMITED member. There is a lot of scary stuff that can happen over the internet.

I will also prefer my members to look at the calendar, for on certain days I will have restrictions on different things on my site, such as uploading pictures and leaving comments.

I am not doing this to take away fun, I am doing this to protect my members.

If any of my members do not enjoy it, you will have to either live with it or go to Facebook or Myspace, where they allow young children to do these things, but I will not have it on my site.

Sorry if I sound a little over formal.

New Games!

Posted by Monique on March 2, 2010 at 9:41 PM Comments comments (6)

There are now seven pages of game in the arcade for your enjoyment.

Also, as a lot of you are probably wandering, why did I have so many stupid girly dress up games where there really is no point to?

Well, I wasn't so sure myself. I don't really get to play the games for long when I must decide on putting it in the arcade or not, but after getting several complaints on the games I deleted them and added fun, addicting games for boys and girls alike.

I'd really hate to have gender discrimination, this is not a girls only site and I welcome people of all ages and genders to join. When I was younger I was not even allowed to talk to boys, I was limited to only girl things by parental law.

Children are children, and it is terrible to separate boys from girls.

So from now on I promise, no more Dress up games!

Okay, so that friend of mine didn't want to make a game about Tyran. Instead, she is now working on a game simuilar to that of Webkinz. Only you won't have to buy a pet before you play.

SOOOO, we are currently waiting on her to finish.

Help us win!

Posted by Monique on March 2, 2010 at 12:13 PM Comments comments (0)

I have entered a contest, a book selling contest. If I sell more books then my fellow competitors, I could win $1500! And you know what that means, more webpages, more cool stuff, and a domain name! Thats the thing you type in before you can go to my website. Its would also really help us out here on the farm!

So, if you wanna help, go to my Links section and see which one of my books you want to buy. They range from seven to ten dollars plus shipping and handling.

Good luck to me!

And, the person who helps me win even third place gets a special gift!

As a bonus, enter the code' IDES ' when you checkout. You'll save 10% off my book!

And the winner of the 2010 Pet Photo Competition is!

Posted by Monique on March 1, 2010 at 5:53 PM Comments comments (0)

Sorry for the delay, on both my third book and the announcment, but we have a winner!

Since we had a tie between Kelsey and Animal Lover, I asked each one of my members who they thought should win personally (Members who did not enter). This way I eliminated the poll results in case some people where trying to vote for themselves.

Well, it ended up as a tie once more. So I called up my good friend Carla Lucile and her boyfriend and my good friend Tommy, and both of them said that Animal Lover desverves the spotlight!

Congrats Animal Lover!

You get to choose from three presents I will send to your inbox.

Have you ever wanted your own TV show?

Posted by Monique on March 1, 2010 at 3:36 PM Comments comments (0)

I am now adding a special TV station on my website. Members can now record their own TV shows, put them on their very own Channel (On my website of course) and watch others TV shows. Only members can create their own TV shows, and I of course have some rules:

No inappropriate videos,

No use of any alcohol, (Unless used for cooking)

No nudity or half naked people running around

No bad language, even if by a parent or someone in the background.

Remember to treat this as it is a major thing, because if any laws are violated, your show and channel will be deleted and you will get a single check. You will then have to wait to get a new show and channel.

Have fun, directors, camera men and TV stars!

The header above is what a member sent me in an e-mail stating our new member Jennie. I am happy to announce that she shouldn't be bothering anyone anymore, because I am now introducing CHECKS into my site. When ever a member of mine is not behaving towards another member, they get a check in their inbox. Three checks and your account is deleted and you cannot come back, ever.

I hope my members take this seriously, because Jennie already has two checks, so if she bothers anyone once more she will be deleted. And since I cannot read any of your e-mails to each other, if Jennie or any other member contacts you with a threat to retreat from the drawing competetion, or anything else that you don't think should be distributed between members, please, e-mail me or leave a comment on my member page and I will take care of it.

I am not adding checks to take away fun, I am adding them to keep my members SAFE from "Cyber Bullies".

A Cyber Bullie is a person who's main purpose on the web is to make others fell bad about themselves. If there is a competition, such as the drawing competition, a Cyber Bullie will do anything to DISQUALIFY members and make them afraid that something will happen to them PHYSICALLY if they compete or win.

Cyber Bullies can be either funny or scary, and mostly they can be scary. They will sometimes send random e-mails to a member on a website saying "I know where you live." or "If you win this competition I will find you.".

Cyber Bullies are usually kids at schools who don't like a certain kid, they will try to dig up the child's e-mail address, and they will harass them until they reach a state were the child is emotionally dead.

Cyber Bullies are scary, and the reason why I am taking this so seriously is because I too was harassed by one.

A few years ago, when I was just starting to write my books, I decided to join a website to get inspiration for my books. I had a friend on this website, and we would always e-mail each other and send messages in things called Shoutboxes. a ShoutBox is like a phone online, and you can text others about what you are doing.

Well, a girl named Tina found the shoutbox we used, and as soon as I told her I was writing a book she began taunting me with horrible comments, telling me my book is a failure already if I'm writing it, and how nobody would ever buy it.

I told her it was a Practice book, a simple book that stretches my writing skills so I can begin writing bigger, better books, and that this book would never be published.

Once she knew that she couldn't get to me with my writing, she began taunting me to the point that I couldn't go on my friends website anymore, because Tina was saying for she'd find my house and kill me.

I was so emotionally caught that I couldn't write anymore, I wouldn't answer the door for a single soul, and I would tighten myself up in a ball and stay in bed.

Yes, the Cyber Bullie almost killed me physically.

A year after no contact with my friend, she began worrying about me, and said it was okay not to go on her website anymore.

We began e-mailing again, Email Email, not Shoutbox Texting.

To this day I fear anyone named Tina, but that's okay, I'm getting over it.

This is why I want my members to stay SAFE from the Cyber World. Its fun and educational, but just like the real world, its filled with criminals and killers.

Monique Tether's Mystic Moon (Coming Soon!)

Posted by Monique on February 19, 2010 at 8:29 PM Comments comments (0)

I am so happy to announce that I AM going to be submitting my book Mystic's Story to become a movie. I am not yet sure on which company, but around next year or so, we should see previews of Mystic's Story!

I was asked about this a while ago, and I was also asked if I would submit all the books in my series. That would seem the way to go, right? But I decided that I want it to be kid friendly, so I am only submitting my second book.

And I am sorry to announce that I have began progress on the last book in the series. Mystic, the last book. I am also sorry to announce that it is a sad story, not for anybody who easily cries at anything. For those of you who haven't yet read the third in the series, here is a spolier. If you want to wait and read the books, don't read it.

To read it, just highlight it with the right mouse button.

A war breaks out between the Quatras, Drafoxes, and humans. During this war, Amy and Jason's (a new character whom Amy falls in love with) baby Luck, grows at an increasing rate, worrying Alicia and Beau. However, in the middle of the war, a bomb hits the Shade's Home, and Alicia, Beau, Jason, Kyle, Luck, and yes, Mystic, die.

The next spolier is a happier one.

Amy starts on her way to train to become a Quatra Human, when she then finds out that her parents, brother, husband and her son are still alive, they are just scattered around Drafoxinia as different mythical creatures. Mystic gets another chance to live, if he can help Amy find her family.

New Name!

Posted by Monique on February 10, 2010 at 8:10 AM Comments comments (2)

As you can see, my site is not very popular. I am currently looking for kids who will buy my book and tell their friends about it. If you would like to do this just email me.

And I have more good news! The third in my Mystic Moon series, Times Tales, has gone into production and should be out soon. I am also happy to anounce that the names for the twins, do to new poll votes, shall be Cameron and Yasmin.:D

Congrats to all who voted!

I have been real backed up with the news lately, sorry about that!:(

Really there isn't much news, except what my critic friends said about my new book:

"Really, there wasn't much of a point to it in the beginning, the kids were growing up and forgetting all about their lives with the animals. Amy, the tomboy of the group really surprised me when she began liking that kid Jason. I just don't think the book will be unique enough to be better then all the stupid things teenagers like these days. Romance and boys, thats all they care about now!"

"Writing a book takes hard work, and this was truly a work of fiction, action, depression, love, and all around life. Just because the main girl falls in love doesn't mean it isn't unique. I would like to see more of Kyle though."

"Honestly, not all ages can read every book in the series. Mystic moon, the first book, was more on the adult thriller side. Not to many people would read a book about a killer trying to track down a lady and a horse to their children right before bed. However, Mystic's Story was entirely kid friendly, every kid I read that book to understood it and some of them lived a simuliar life to that of Amy and Kyle. However, Times Tales was a teen book, I won't say completely girly teeny, all ages and genders may enjoy some parts, but I just think the relationship part was too eagerly focused on instead of the lives of the parents expecting another baby, and the children and the horses."

"I agree. This book, even though it was well written, was a pre-teen to teen book. Girls at my school would love it, because of the 'cute' boys fighting over the tomboy girl."

If you read any part of my first two books, please email me what you thought about them!

Good News!

I have decided to pick a name from my new fan, Seeka. She chose the random name Quay for the girl, and Cameron for the boy. :) Good Work, Seeka!

Of course, if anyone wants to compete with those names, I'll have a competition for best name!

As everyone can see I did not write anything down yesterday. Thats because I'm sort of thinking of shutting my blog down, cause without readers its sort of a waste of time. So until I get some people to my site, I am no longer writing anything.

Kim the Quarter horse

Posted by Monique on January 5, 2010 at 5:32 PM Comments comments (0)

I just got back from training Kim, my new horse. It took me around two hours just to get the saddle on her! I am planning on putting her in a competition soon, lets see how that goes!

Still awaiting the two names for the twins in Times Tales, still not going as I planned, so I decided to sign up for Twitter to get my name out there and become a famous writer! Wish me luck!

Awaiting The Two names!

Posted by Monique on January 4, 2010 at 3:54 PM Comments comments (0)

Work on the third book has been filled with writers blocks and annoying drains of imagination, but the book is on its seventh chapter and is looking good! I am still awaiting what the twins in the book should be named, since no body has sent in any good names that click. Which is why I am begging for others to send in more names! :D I would like names that ryhm, without being copyright, and names that you don't hear each day. Find me two lucky names and they will be in the book!
