MAKIN' A MOVIE!

Blog Post New Entry

Never Gonna Give Up!

Posted by Monique on May 11, 2010 at 2:22 PM

You do not know how many people are against me trying to get my book to be a movie! The other day, a man told me that his book has more of what it takes to be a movie then mine does. I just laughed and asked him, "Then why is my book being contacted by a movie company?"  his response?

"Be careful." still not sure what that means.

Have any of you seen Carla's baby lately?

In the beginning weeks she did look like a little alien, I know, but little Suzie is cute now, right?

I don't know, I haven't seen her myself.

So, anyhoo, my very last book is being written right now, and I am still getting used to the new writing program I have.

But, the book is going to be great! I am adding a lot of fantasy to keep readers wandering, including an underwater city called Tropia!

There is also going to be two small love stories, one which ends happily, and another that ends deadly.

Oh, and of course the new romance between (Spoiler!) Luck and Caramel!

Yep!!!

You remember Spoilers, right? You click and drag the mouse over the hidden words, so that others whom don't want to read the spoiler don't have to.

I am adding a few new characters, here are their descriptions:

Vanessa Coron, The seventeen year old horse freak, she is secretly in love with the Mayor of Tropia, a young man named Angel Wedson. The two start a romance without anyone knowing, and this leads to horrifying consequences.

Angel Wedson, a nineteen year old mayor, after his father died he automatically became mayor of the newly popular underwater world called Tropia. After he meets a young girl named Vanessa Coron, they start a romance and (SPOILER ALERT!!!) get married without anyone knowing, which leads Vanessa to think that she is pregnant, but she isn't, but she continues to pretend so that her beloved Angel doesn't leave her.

Quinn Dawn, a young naturist whom is completely against Tropia, however, her husband Samuel Dawn forces her to live in a hotel in Tropia for her own safety. SPOLIER!!!! One night, Quinn leaves, and she also leaves a note by Sam's night stand, saying that she is Pregnant, and has to leave him. The next day she is found ___________________ you will have to read the book to find out what happens next!

Greg Coron, Vanessa's thirteen year old brother, whom doesn't want his sister to be around any other boy except him. They have a wonderful relationship until she begins dating Angel, and only Greg knows...

Lyra Coron, Greg and Vanessa's mother. She is barely in the book, for she is always working, but she is still a big part of it.

Teresa Comma, a young woman whom has recently gotten a job being Angel's secretary, however, once she finds out that he is with Vanessa, she goes out of her way to ensure he doesn't marry her.

Valerie Cortez, an unhappy young woman whom only wants to be freed from her doubt of never finding a good husband, but after she finds out that her high school crush has been taken by Quinn Dawn, she has no choice but to (SPOLIER!!!) kill.

Samuel Dawn, his wife is a major naturist, and he's a famous director. However, not even one of his fans know that he is married, neither do his parents, or her parents, no one knows. However, Spoiler! in chapter eleven, his wife's death inspires him to direct a film about her.

I hope that gives you a new insight on what my new book is going to be like!

You are totally right, horseluv!
I wear all sorts of crazy outfits, but none ever go past my nees. However, I don't think its the way we dress, i think its how we act around boys tht shows them what we are made of.
and yeah, i do think that it counts on what the guy has been raised up to be like, not neccicarly how we act around them.
if the kid has a strict father who treats his wife like a slave, then he will learn to be the higher gender, put a girl in that situatoin and she will learn to be a lower gender.
However, if the wife is head of the household (Like it is in my home), then the boy will be humble and the girl will be strong.
If you have a famiy that treats each other equally, and there is no head, boy and girl learn to be humble and treat each other right.

Thats what my grandpa told me.
As for characters, Greg seems cool!

Carlas baby is cute! Did you guys find out if it as a boy or girl yet?

Personally, I think some men don't respect women, those big macho dumb guys who get any woman they want are only like that because women subject to it, it isn't their fault they don't respect us, its ours.
We girls are always walking around in short shot skirts (only most of us) and tight tight tops and we wonder why men treat us like they can grab anyone of us, we don't stick up for ourselves. If we dress like descent humans, then we would have a lot less jerks out there.
My older sister dated two guys when she was sixteen, and they treated her terrible, and you know something? She always wore short pants and tight tops. She stopped doing that when she reached eighteen, and now she is with a good guy who sticks up for her and treats her like she should be treated. Gues what she wears now? Graphic Tees and loose jeans.
It may sound silly, but the way you dress reflects who you are and what you act like, my sister is a lot tougher now, and others see it.

As for the characters, I think I'd like Vanessa, her horse loving reflects me.

I say, Who cares if people are tellin you no? Stick up for yourself, Monique! You have written great, one of a kind books that deserve popularity.
Tell me who this guy is, I'll wack his brains out.
And Seeka? Why on earth would you stand up for a guy? Stick with your gender, don't forget that a guy told Monique that her book isn't good enough.

Men don't respect woman, so don't stick up for them.

My favorite character will be the mother, Lyra, mothers are hard working people whom deserve more then what they get.

WOO!!!!YAY!!!! I actually don't want to be in the movie, I would like to see it be filmed though.
Though if I was older I would make a great teenage amy!
I think my second favorite character is going to be Angel. I stick up for the guys long as they are cool.
