MAKIN' A MOVIE!

Times Tales, To Be a Musical? Or Not?

Posted by Monique on September 29, 2010 at 12:43 AM

I have recently become a Musical Fan. Okay, not really, but I noticed how musicals make kids interested, and make adults hum. Teens, however, don't prefer musicals unless they're glee fans or preppy kits (KITS: A very girly girl who everyone hates cause she only wants to sit in bed and daydream about her impossible boyfriend who she'll never have.) , and lets face it, only 10% of America's population of teens actually watch that show (no offense, glee fans, I just can't take that show seriously.). Sooo, what's a first time Producer/Director to do? Well, I figured there will be only three scenes where my characters will break out singing. Here is my spolier list! Don't read it if you wanna be surprised!

Cookie Dominoes: in this scene, Yasmin and Cameron are playing dominoes in order to win the last cookie in the cookie jar. They start singing a cute Cookie song, which shall be featured on the movie's album.
Kody's Grand Entrance: in this scene, Kody shows up to the party dressed up like a pop singer from the sixties, and a song entilteld Kody, With A K will be playing in the background, and Kody will begin to dance to his own beat.
Under The Mystic Moon: in this scene, Amy and Jason will be leaning in for their first kiss, and a soft guitar slowly fills the air, as Amy pauses in the moment to describe what a kiss must be like in her own song.
So, it'll be a mini musical, not too  bad right? Don't forget to comment!

Oh i love the idea of amy singin a song, specialyy considering her actor... nd the kody one is cool. but the cookie scene may be a little weird... as far as cookie scene goes. u shld have song recorded and play it in the bak ground, while the domino game is going.! =D

um, not.. especially if u want a larger audience to be interested. like u said. teens aren't really in to the whole musical thing. i think the action/romance theme this story seems to already have is better! =) just my opinion anyway! ♥
Luv ya chickaz ♥
